Ken graduated as a lawyer and has over 35 years of entrepreneurial experience in Canada and the US. After being elected as the youngest Director of United Trust at age 27, he went on to become President and CEO of Bramalea Ltd during its remarkable growth phase in the 1970s and 1980s.
He founded Commercial Alcohols (later renamed GreenField Ethanol) in 1989 and under his leadership, the company has grown to become the largest manufacturer and distributor of fuel ethanol, industrial alcohol and alcohol-related products in Canada.
In 2002, Ernst and Young honoured Ken with the Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Canada. He was named as one of the Financial Post’s “Hot 20” in their 2007 Climate Change Power List and is a member the Canadian Council of Chief Executives.

Bob has over 30 years of experience in all areas of senior management, with a major emphasis in operations and project management of large-scale chemical businesses. Starting his career as a project engineer, Bob became President and Chief Executive Officer of Hercules Canada by age 40. He then served as President of Hercules Americas for three years and held progressively senior executive positions with Hercules Incorporated (NYSE- HPC) based in the US.
He joined GreenField as President and CEO in July 2000 to lead the company through its expansion program.
Bob is and has been a member of the Chemical Manufacturers Association (CMA), National Investor Relations Institute, Marketing Leadership Council of the Corporate Executive Board, Canadian-American Business Council, Canadian Chemical Producers Association (CCPA) and Ordre des ingenieurs du Quebec. GreenField has been named one of Canada’s 50 Best Managed companies three times under Bob’s leadership.

Marty has over 19 years of operational experience in continuous manufacturing processes. He began his professional career at the Iron Ore Company of Canada where he gained experience in process engineering and operations. Marty moved on to Lantic Sugar Limited assuming higher levels of responsibility in quality and production management. He implemented an ISO 9000 quality system and achieved several new production and efficiency milestones.
Marty joined GreenField in 2000 as an operations manager and was promoted to the position of Chatham Plant Manager in 2004. Now as Vice President, Bulk Manufacturing, he is responsible for all GreenField’s ethanol production facilities.
Marty is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario and was an executive member of the Chatham-Kent Chamber of Commerce from 2005-2008.

Stewart is a chartered accountant with more than 30 years of experience in various senior financial management positions in public and private companies.
He joined GreenField in 1998 to assume responsibility for accounting and financial reporting, management information systems and other financial administrative functions.
Stewart is also active as a volunteer in the not-for-profit sector where his knowledge and skills have allowed him to participate at senior levels.

Frank has 34 years of experience in the forest products industry. He founded Tembec Inc. in 1972 and served as the company’s President and CEO from 1979 until his retirement in January 2006. Under his leadership, Tembec grew from a small pulp mill in Quebec to a leading integrated forest products company with 55 mills in North America, Europe and South America. Tembec has also developed the only known pulp mill in North America that produces ethanol.
Frank joined GreenField in 2007 to lead the company’s expansion strategy into cellulosic ethanol.
Frank has served as chair of the Free Trade Lumber Council, the Canadian Pulp and Paper Association, the Forest Engineering Research Institute of Canada and the Pulp and Paper Research Institute of Canada. He was also co-chair of the Forest Sector Advisory Council of the Canadian government. Frank was awarded the Order of Canada in 1989 and has received four honorary doctorate degrees.

Brian has more than 30 years of experience practising law in the Toronto office of Borden Ladner Gervais LLP, primarily as a corporate-commercial lawyer with a wide-ranging practice, but with stints in litigation and tax. He also served for three years as Managing Partner, Professional Affairs of the Toronto office. He has extensive experience with corporate commercial law in the areas of securities, joint ventures, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, leasing & lending and privacy law.
He joined GreenField in August 2006 as General Counsel with responsibility for contracts, compliance and other legal issues affecting the company.
Brian is a member of the Canadian and Ontario Bar Associations and the Association of Corporate Counsel. He is an International Associate of the American Bar Association.

Pierre is a professional engineer with more than 30 years of experience with major construction projects, predominantly as a manager. In that time, he has consistently met or surpassed quality objectives for seven major construction projects with a combined value of over 1 billion dollars, while remaining on budget and on schedule.
His past projects have included a corn based ethanol plant, three new paper machines, a chemi-thermo-mechanical pulp mill, a thermo-mechanical pulp plant and a secondary effluent treatment system.
Pierre joined GreenField in 2005 and he is currently heading new plant construction projects. As such, he is responsible for all engineering, procurement and construction activities pertaining to the company’s expansion plans.

Gary has over 30 years of experience in sales and marketing for alcohol and its co-products. Ten of those years were spent at Miracle Feeds, a division of Labatt Breweries, where he marketed Labatt’s co-products and eventually became Sales Manager for Canada and Northeast USA.
He joined GreenField in 1989 as Vice President and General Manager. His position has evolved over the years to include production, purchasing, corn risk management and five years as President of Pharmco and AAPER. Gary currently oversees fuel, industrial and beverage alcohol sales as well as marketing distillers' grains and carbon dioxide – both valuable co-products of ethanol production. He is also responsible for leading the development of GreenField’s international marketing strategy.

David has more than 25 years of experience as a senior human resources executive at publicly traded companies in both Canada and the United States. His diverse industry background includes three years at LAC Minerals and five years at real estate company Bramalea Ltd. During his 10 years with medical diagnostic company Dynacare, David also held executive positions in investor relations and supervised risk management, as well as spending three years as president of Med+Care, a division of Dynacare.
Since 2002, David has managed the personnel challenges associated with GreenField’s growth.
David sits on the board of Tobias House and has been a formal speaker at conferences held by the Human Resources Personnel Association of Ontario.

Jean has over 25 years of experience with major capital projects. He joined GreenField in 1997 to oversee the development of the Varennes, Quebec project and is now responsible for all GreenField’s activities in Quebec.
He is also working closely with Enerkem on developing commercial scale plants for the thermochemical production of cellulosic ethanol from municipal waste.

David has more than 30 years of engineering experience, primarily in a management capacity. Since 1999, he has been the owner and president of a project management consulting firm that has provided project scope development, engineering resource allocation, project budget control and career development services to a range of clients including GreenField Ethanol, Bartek Ingredients, Hanson Brick Ltd., BPB Canada Inc/Certain Teed Gypsum and Wheelabrator Ltd. Prior to that, David was co-owner and operations manager of a full-service engineering consulting firm for 13 years.
David joined Greenfield in 2008 to lead the GreenField Engineering and Technology Group. He is responsible for overseeing the integration of emerging technologies into the company's produciton facilities and the development of commercially viable production methods for cellulosic ethanol. David is a member of the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers.

Malcolm has more than 25 years experience as a senior financial executive. His background includes ten years in public accounting practice with a predecessor firm of KPMG, and four years at a Canadian real estate development company, where he served as Vice President and Treasurer.
Malcolm joined the GreenField team in 1991, and since that time has led all financing initiatives associated with GreenField's major capital expansions. Malcolm is responsible for all aspects of corporate finance including banking, investor relations and risk management. As well, he is responsible for all financial aspects of project development including structuring of long-term contracts supporting new plant development.
Malcolm has played an integral role in the design and structuring of government support programs for ethanol in Canada over the past 15 years. He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and the Financial Executives Institute.

Barry has over 40 years of experience in litigation. He was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1969 and joined Shibley Righton LLP where he is still a member (partner).
Since 2006, Barry has allocated part of his time to his law firm practice and the other part to a special engagement with GreenField.
On his call, he was awarded the Law Society Second Prize for Ontario and the Lawyers Club of Toronto Second Prize. Barry was appointed a Queen's Counsel in 1983.
For 20 years, GreenField has used new technology to increase ethanol yields and energy efficiency.
For the first time since 9/11, a new issue has tied health care as the number one concern of Canadians, as revealed by a Gandalf group poll in July.

For over 20 years, GreenField has been buying corn from local producers and returning a third of it to farmers as distillers’ grains, a valued form of livestock feed.
The Canadian government estimates: "If 35 percent of gasoline in Canada contained ten percent ethanol, greenhouse gas emissions would be reduced by 1.8 megatonnes per year (1.8 million tonnes), which is the equivalent of removing more than 400,000 vehicles from the road."
